Dear Reader,
Reclaiming Beauty is now twenty-eight days old. Since then, there have been fifty-five articles or posts. That is almost two a day.
There have also been interesting emails (some with discussion) by readers. Some readers have given me great ideas which I've incorporated into the site, including adding another topic "etiquette" to the growing list.
There are now fifty-three topics to post from Multiculturalism to Mozart, all dealing with beauty. There is something for everyone! But such is the strength of beauty, since it affects every aspect of our lives.
A reader, finding the "Nature" topic emailed me:
The materialists and atheists have no rational basis for defending beauty (and it shows!) and this forms one of the most interesting themes to discuss ideas I think. It seems incredible that we should have to defend beauty as it is one of the pillars of social development. It reflects poorly on traditionalists that liberals predominate in nature conservation philosophy and action.Please support our quest in Reclaiming Beauty. The endeavor is a long and arduous one, but I think we are equipped to forge ahead!
