Christmas at the Mies van der Rohe's

I took the top photograph a couple of weeks ago, as Christmas trees were popping up everywhere. And the bottom one a couple of days ago, early evening.
I guess one can translate the "caution" ribbon in the top picture (which I took as minor construction work was going on) can mean for us to take the message of Christmas seriously, and not to get pulled into all the glitter.
But, there is no season more wonderful than Christmas, where everyone does celebrate it in some way. Yet, we need to pull it back to its real meaning.
